Gar koi hasaaye tumhe,

Gar koi rulaaye tumhe,

Sambhal jao, dil thaam lo,

Yahi wo deewana hai jiski talaash thi tumhe...

Dil ki kashmakash 
ko mita kar,

Haath thaam lo deewane ka!

Lone warrior

Minutes tick by, seconds go past me;
As I am engulfed in tumultous battles within,
A fire lit in me to free my chained soul,
Yet I stand a lone warrior in the sands of time.
Nothing deterring me...

A wave of nausea floods my ocean of joy,
Turning the waters grey and black!

A harsh truth dawns on me,
Friends turned foes,
Foes turned friends!
Reality is a living nightmare for me...

Drowning in emotional depths of introspection,
wondering how to untangle a tangled self,
Its complications' galore on Earth.

Dark shades overpowering humanity,
Values lost in translation,
Bonds left cracked and shattered,
Feelings left languishing in the prison walls of ego,
Is this what is humanity?

Unchained melodies of a soul...

Life - a maze of challenges,

A way through this being the biggest puzzle,
This puzzle has become a mystery;

This mystery unresolved, unsolved,

Life's ups and downs have turned it into history!

Battles in my mind led to wars several,

A war between my heart and mind fought often,

Its result: a poor, confused soul (ole)!

                              

                                                     Unable to survive,
                                                     Unable to breathe,

                                                     Unable to think,
                                                     Unable to feel;   
                              

                                                     Lyin' wounded on the battlefield,

                                                     Counting my seconds,

                                                     Numbed by bullets of rejection,

                                                     Blown apart by the warriors,
                                                     I die in the battlefield!

An angel unchains my soul, unburdens me,

Lo! behold, I fly away...away to the Neverlands
No, a realisation - fulfillin' my unfulfilled ambitions!

Cutting across the maze of life,

With streaks of confidence,

Across hairlines of crisis and life

Livin' life fully,

Emerging confident like a 'Phoenix'
from the ashes of death!

Death of my soul,
Aha! Its the birth of a new 'ME'!
