Chehra
बरामदे में खड़ी थी,
ना जाने किन ख्यालों में थी वो.
चाय की प्याली अंछुई,
तश्तरी में बिस्कुट सजी हुई,
दूर नजरें कुछ ढूंढ रही थी.
यादों की बौछार हुई!
उसका चेहरा आँखों में आया।
हल्की सी मुस्कुराहट आई,
ज़ुबान पर नाम आ गया उसका।
और फिर उसके ख्यालों में डूब गयी!

This is the best version of me,
Nothing can change that!
The radiance and glow may scorch some, it may warm some,
But this is me!
My words may hit some, warm others,
But my love is undying and unconditional,
That's me - whole, soul, pure!
My choices may be bizarre, but they are mine.
My feelings are also mine, failures too!
But that's just me!
